The low profile York Latitude® Series is built to the same exacting quality standards demanded of all York equipment, and has earned its own reputation for dependability, quiet operation, and efficiency. As with all York condensing units, the ERC models are designed to be custom-matched with a York evaporator section. Matching air handlers are available for upflow, downflow, and horizontal applications. Electric heaters and add-on coils are also available. With efficiency ratings ranging from 10
SEER to as high as 15.3, when matched to a compatible variable-speed air handler, the Latitude Series is the niche line for homeowners in search of highly-affordable home comfort, in terms of both initial installed cost and long-term operation.
Special Benefits
- Compressor is internally protected against high pressure and temperature through a high-pressure relief valve and temperature sensor.
- Coils are constructed of copper tubing with protected aluminum fins for durabiity and long lasting, efficient operation.
- Plastic mesh coil protection is standard between coil guard and condenser coil.
- Operating sounds are minimized through upward discharge air flow, a rigid top panel to isolate motor sounds, cushioned compressor mounts, and rippled condenser coil fins.
- Permanently lubricated motor bearings need no annual servicing.
- Top discharge allows warm air to be exhausted up and away from the structure and surrounding landscaping to permit compact locations on multi-level applications.
